New Superstore Magazine Launches
Redwood Publishing is to launch Safeway’s new monthly consumer magazine, A Taste Of Safeway, which will be distributed free with the Mail on Sunday’s You magazine and the supermarket’s own customer loyalty card system.
Launching on 27th August, A Taste Of Safeway will have features on in-store products, recipes, interviews and health and beauty tips, with the core target audience being young families.

… Dixons Store Group is also to launch a magazine in conjunction with its in-store products. Switch On! is being published by contract publishers IPG, and will launch on the 2nd October, with a cover price of 95p.
It will go on sale on the newsstand as well as in branches of Dixons, Currys, PC World and Link, and has an initial print run of 250,000. The editorial will cover everything sold in the stores from hi-fi’s to PC’s, with features on multimedia, satellite TV and the Internet. It is aimed at anyone who is interested in purchasing electrical goods.
