Islington is to get a new weekly newspaper from this Friday, 1 March. Ham & High is launching the Highbury and Islington Express, a paid-for title to cover the borough of Islington. Each issue, with a 40p cover price, will have over 100 pages and will cover comprehensive local news, arts, sports, business and entertainment.
Ham & High say they have been planning the newspaper for at least two years; research showed there was a strong desire amongst local residents and businesses for a paper for Islington in the style of the Ham & High, but dedicated to local issues.
