Jim Hicks, chairman of the New Wave Broadcasting board, is heading the bid for the new local radio service for Brighton and Hove. The move has attracted strong investment from the radio industry.
New Wave has also established a powerful non-executive board which includes David Atkey of Talk Radio and CLT UK Radio director David Cousins.
Recently, New Wave’s bid for the licence was also strengthened by CLT UK’s investment *(CLT Strengthens New Wave’s Bid).
