New Website To Promote Truck Advertising

The companies involved in UK truck advertising (see Feature: Ads On The Road) have co-operated to produce an impartial website, www.truckadvertising.co.uk, designed to promote the medium.

Nick Lindwall of In Your Space, one of the companies involved, explained: “In essence the main intention of the site is to demystify the medium so that it can be better understood and more readily incorporated into media plans. It allows us to benchmark our services so that planners and buyers can see the level of service on offer to them. It therefore forces all contractors to concentrate on providing greater accountability- something that can only be of benefit to all concerned.”

The site discusses topics including production rates, materials used in campaigns, booking periods, and includes statistics and contacts for the medium. The content was derived from research performed in conjunction with contractors operating in the industry.
