New Weekly Paper Launches For Essex

Essex is to receive a new paid-for weekly newspaper called the Essex Courier which will have an initial print run of around 50,000 copies.

The Essex Courier represents the first paid-for title by publishers Foremost Publications and is priced at 35p.

The title is edited by Brian Lynch, an Essex journalist with 25 years’ experience. Lynch’s aim is to rekindle a community spirit in Essex and he hopes to get residents and local MPs involved in producing material for the newspaper.
