New Yorkshire Titles
Westminster Press has launched three weekly newspapers in northwest Yorkshire; The Craven Star, Ilkley Star and Wharfedale Star. Each title will have a pagination of 42, with the combined circulation being 45,000.
The Nottingham Evening Post is to be sold for more than £80m, according to Media Week sources. The title is to be auctioned, with Trinity and Thomson among the most interested parties. (Newsline 11/4/94)
The Bath Evening Chronicle is to be relaunched this week as the Bath Chronicle and will devote more coverage to local issues.
