News Group Newspapers, the division of News International which publishes The Sun and the News Of The World, has announced the creation of the post of display sales controller in its sales department. The post is to be filled by Mike Gordon, previously advertising manager for The Sun. Gordon will have responsibility for News Group Newspapers’ business development programme.
David Emin, previously advertising manager for the News Of The World, becomes advertising manager of The Sun. Darren Locke, previously a group head on The Sun, becomes advertising manager of News Of The World.
…London News Radio (LNR) has appointed Nick Williams as a new head of local and regional sales. Williams joins the group from GWR’s Mercia FM. He will be responsible for managing LNR’s six-person Local and Regional Sales Team.
