News International has this week extended the Times‘s aggressive promotional push. As well as its Monday edition still selling at 10p, this week readers will be able to pick up free any one of a number of magazines which include Cosmopolitan, Company, She, Esquire and Country Living.
To receive their magazine readers must collect any four numbered tokens which will be published each day between Monday and Saturday. With the summer nearly over, it is also believed that the Times will move its cheap Monday edition to Thursday, though a News International spokeswoman could not confirm when this might happen.
