Piers Morgan, the Editor of the News of the World announced yesterday he is leaving to edit the Daily Mirror. Piers Morgan, at 30, will be the youngest editor of a national daily newspaper.
However News International issued a statement saying “Piers Morgan remains Editor of the News of the World under the terms of his contract.”
The Daily Mirror’s current editor, Colin Myler, will become managing director of the Daily and Sunday Mirror.
