Newsquest, the regional newspaper publishing company, has sold some former Westminster Press titles to Bristol United Press for £35m.
The titles disposed of formed the Wessex subsidiary of Westminster which Newsquest bought for £305m last August (subscribers see Newsquest Buys Westminster Press For £305m). It consists of 11 paid-for and free Westcountry titles including the Bath Chronicle.
