Nielsen launches CTV adspend data in UK

Nielsen has added connected TV (CTV) coverage to its Ad Intel product in the UK, beginning in September.
It will provide a comprehensive view of UK CTV adspend across major platforms including Channel 4 streaming, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, ITVX, My5, Netflix, Now, Freeview, Sky, Tubi and U.
Coverage of CTV was added to Ad Intel in Germany in June. The UK roll-out is part of Nielsen’s commitment to provide deeper insights into the fast-growing channel.
The move aims to enable marketers and advertisers to better understand the media landscape and plan campaigns more effectively.
Users will be able to track adspend across all major streaming platforms alongside linear TV, digital and other media types that are already available.
Moreover, they will gain insights into competitors’ media strategies, offering greater visibility into adspend shifts between linear TV, CTV and other digital channels.
