The ABC //electronic certificate issued this month for the audit period of May 1998 shows that the website NME.com (see Newsline) maintains its position this month as the U.K’s top music site having delivered nearly 4 million page impressions to 135,000 users.
Loaded’s website, Uploaded, has also seen an 18% growth in page impressions since January, and a 30% increase in users.
Colin Tough, new media publishing editor, commented: “The continued rapid growth of both Uploaded and NME.com is due in no small part to the fact that both sites are electronic supplements to the existing magazines and not simply the print magazines shovelled on screen.”
