Bath-based Future Publishing has had to close two of its consumer titles because of a recent fall in circulation. Quarterly magazine Today’s Vegetarian and monthly Photo Plus will both release their final issues this week having fought against closure since the middle of last year.
Future is claiming that Photo Plus was not strong enough to make it in the competitive photography market alongside big contenders like Apex Publish- ing’s Practical Photography with a circulation figure of 98,838 compared with 59,091 for Photo Plus.
