Non Terrestrial Penetration Reaches 5 Million

BARB estimates for the first quarter of 1996 show total penetration has passed the 5,000,000 mark (5,007,000).

Cable penetration continues to grow at a faster rate than dishes up 2.6% between January and March 1996, compared to a 0.8% increase for dishes over the same period.

Year on year figures (March 95 vs March 96) show cable growth running at 41.8%, compared to 15.1% for dish sales.
