Nuts‘ website ranked number one in 2009 based on market share of visits in the UK, according to Hitwise.

During 2009, nuts.co.uk was named the most visted website in the Hitwise lifestyle – men’s sites sector report, banking the top spot for a second year running.

Keith Walker, editor of nuts.co.uk and loaded.co.uk, said: “Winning the Hitwise Lifestyle award is a fantastic reward for all the work our team have put into the Comedy, Sport, Gaming and News sections on the Nuts site.

“We’ve made a significant investment in talent to recruit the funniest, best-informed writers around and I’m pleased their work is being recognised for the second year in a row.”

In the latest ABCe report, nuts.co.uk delivered an average monthly ABCe figure of 1,457,029 unique users – up 3.5% on the period, while www.loaded.co.uk delivered an average monthly ABCe of 323,233, up 2.2% on the period.
