Six month financial results released today by Nynex CableComms show that net loss for the period was £35.5 million compared to a loss last year of £43.2m. Total revenue increased by a massive 93%, from £35.3m to £68.1m.
Good growth was recorded in the company’s cable television business: revenue increased 74% to £29.2m, with the number of homes being passed increasing from 780,275 to 1.156 million. Penetration rate also increased to 19.6% from 18.8%.
