Omnicom Buys Claydon Heeley International

Omnicom has announced that it has bought UK below-the-line agency Claydon Heeley for an undisclosed sum.

Claydon Heeley has billings in the region of £68 million and plans to double its UK staff to 200 over the next two years. Its clients include British Airways, Pepsi ,Guinness, Ford and Unilever and it recently won contracts for The New Millennium Experience and BP.

Omnicom’s CEO John Wren says: “Claydon Heeley are one of the most innovative and dynamic shops to have emerged in below the line this decade. We believe that there is a substantial global opportunity in their sector and we’ve spent considerable time and energy identifying the right UK based partner to exploit it. This is an important deal for us.”
