Bob Mullings, the TV buying director who left Optimedia in August as a result of a restructure *Optimedia Managers Go, has joined Channel 4 in the role of regional sales controller for Manchester. His role will be to increase regional sales and target the agencies based in Manchester.
…John Beadell’s departure from ABC as chief executive this week ABC Chief Exec Leaves has provoked much speculation in the trade press. It is reported that his intention to focus on overseas expansion did not meet with approval from other management who wanted to concentrate on technological developments. At the moment Richard Foan, deputy chief executive, is taking on Mr Beadell’s responsibilities.
