ABC //electronic has released the figures for the PA NewsCentre website for July 1998, during which period the site recorded an increase in traffic of 34% with 6,282,269 page impressions.
The PA NewsCentre website provides news, sport, entertainment and technology updated throughout the day. Mark Hird, new media director at PA, said: “We are continually adding new services to the PA NewsCentre and the latest figures from ABC //electronic confirm this is paying off for us. Our own statistics show that much of this traffic flows through to our new media customers, a key aim of the site.”
