Buitoni, the Italian food manufacturer, has signed a £106,000 sponsorship and advertising deal with Classic FM; this includes a week long series of programmes about Italy, its food and its culture.

The Italian week will include a series of specially recorded concerts and recitals, outside broadcasts and speech-based programmes that reflect modern Italian life and contemporary musical performance. Classic FM’s sales and marketing director, Simon Ward, said: “The week long initiative allows Buitoni access to all points in our schedule and exposure to different audiences across the day.”
