Pepsi Renews Network Chart Sponsorship

Pepsi has renewed its sponsorship of the Pepsi Network Chart Show for 1996, in a deal worth over £1m. Pepsi has been sponsor of ILR’s Chart Show since August 1993. The show now broadcasts live to 66 independent radio stations in an extended 3 hour show from 16:00 to 19:00 each Sunday, with an average of over 3m listeners each week.
Revenue growth for the show has increased by 58% year on year, with new advertisers including Alliance & Leicester, Pizza Hut, Kotex, Burger King and Del Monte.
Tim Davie, Pepsi Brand Manager, said, “We are delighted to continue our sponsorship of the No.1 chart show on radio. The show … raises Pepsi’s brand awareness and profile among our core market of 16-24 year olds.”
