Personality Required For Foreign Programmes

A leaked BBC report Reflecting The World has found that 10 million British people have no interest in foreign culture programmes. Using popular star presenters is the only way this large chunk of the UK population will be tempted to turn-on to programmes set overseas. The report claims that names like Chris Evans and Vic Reeves are what is needed to attract younger viewers to this type of programme genre.

The report also recommends setting consumer programmes, centred around cooking, gardening and fashion, abroad as a way to expand the audience.
