Plantin To Leave ITV

Marcus Plantin today announced that he intends to stand-down from the post of ITV Network Director later this year. He was appointed as the channel’s first-ever Network director in November 1992.

Mr Plantin commented: “After five years of carrying out this challenging and demanding job, it is time for a change of pace and direction.” He apparently made it clear last year that he wanted to leave the Network in the autumn of 1997.
