Poldark Returns – On ITV

The ITV Network Centre has commissioned a new production of Poldark, originally shown on the BBC 20 years ago. The new 2-hour production is likely to form part of ITV’s 1995 Xmas schedule, and will take the story on ten years with the 1970 stars Robin Ellis and Angharad Rees said to be likely to reprise the roles of Ross and Demelza Poldark.

The BBC series gained audiences of 15 million.
