Three ITV networked films reached the top ten in the BARB programme rankings for week-ending 5th September. The rankings are based on one showing only, consolidated viewing figures.
Pretty Woman reached 15.6m making it number two in the rankings behind Coronation Street (16.7m). Crocodile Dundee 2 reached number four with 14.03m viewers and Lethal Weapon 2 had an audience of 11.63m, ranking at number ten. The top BBC1 show was the first in the new series of Birds of A Feather which attracted 13.76m and was number five in the rankings. The best BBC film was 48 Hours (9.38m, ranking 22).
