Posh Documentary Beaten By BBC One Repeat

Victoria Beckham Victoria Beckham: Coming To America, a documentary following the Spice Girl on her move to the US, could only attract a peak audience of 3.4 million adult viewers to ITV1 last night, a figure easily beaten by a repeat of BBC One drama Waking The Dead.

The Posh Spice reality show had an average of 3.2 million adults watching throughout its hour-long running time.

However, viewers preferred the macabre goings on of BBC One’s slick cold-case investigation show Waking The Dead, which had a peak of 4.4 million adults in the all-important 9pm slot.

Prior to Waking The Dead, BBC One screened its hit medical drama Holby City, which picked up a peak of 5.4 million adults.

Last night’s instalment saw Clifford’s day blown out of the water when his brother Alex arrived and upset the apple-cart.

Over on Five at 9pm was CSI: Miami, where the first episode of season five saw Horatio determined to bring Riaz to justice once and for all.

The hard-hitting detective show had a peak of 3.1 million adult viewers and an average of 2.9 million stayed glued across its hour-long running time.

Big Brother, also on at 9pm, had a peak of 2.6 million adult viewers, no doubt all enthralled by the latest exciting events in the house.
