PPA To Launch Generic Campaign

The Periodical Publishers Association (PPA) is to introduce the first generic advertising campaign for more than ten years to promote magazines, it has been revealed. Details of the campaign, which will run in Marketing, Campaign, Media Week and Marketing Week throughout the year, are to be announced later today at the ‘Magazines ’93’ conference.
Chief executive of IPC Magazines, Mike Matthew says; “This is a heavyweight campaign uniting all the major publishing houses. The clear message to advertisers and agencies is that the magazine medium works – and works effectively”.
