Practical Classics In Merger

Practical Classics, Emap Nationals’ classic car magazine, is set to merge with its sister title, Popular Classics. The merger will take effect in the August issue (on sale Friday 19th July) with the title becoming Practical Classics Incorporating Popular Classics.

The magazine will have a new look which includes a nostalgia element, with regular photographs of classic cars in everyday situations. It is hoped that the change will strengthen the position of Practical Classics amongst classic car enthusiasts.

Rob Croxall, Publisher of Emap Nationals’ classic car magazine portfolio, commented: “By combining the individual strengths of each title, this merger will produce the strongest title in the classic car market. I am confident that the move will further strengthen our position as the leading publisher of classic car magazines.”
