Haymarket Consumer magazines are speculated to be in negotiation with Virgin 1215 to produce a men’s AOR music magazine aimed at men between 25-45, according to Media Week. The new title would rival Emap’s Q and Mojo.
… IPC is claiming 1 million readers for its women’s weekly title Eva, based on TGI research. A study of TGI respondents who read women’s weeklies and tabloids found that 1,038,000 women had seen the title in the previous week. Eva launched in September, with a target circulation of 375,000. The current circulation is estimated to exceed 500,000.
… The Daily Telegraph is to make its personal finance and motoring sections into standalone sections from 21st January.
