Sky Sports is to broadcast live coverage of a new snooker tournament to start on Monday April 5th. As the last major ranking tournament before the World Championships the Sky Sports International Open will have 32 top players in competition for the £150,000 prize fund.
Following the recent appointment of David Elstein as Head of Programming at Sky TV the channel has set up a deal to screen the award winning chat show, Sally Jessy Raphael as well as a new series, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicle with actors such as Vanessa Redgrave and Harry Enfield.
