Q1 Radio Revenue Reaches £88.811m

Advertising revenue for commercial radio in quarter 1 1998 reached £88.811 million, up 14.8% year on year, according to the Radio Advertising Bureau. Of this figure, local revenue came in at £37.089m while national reached £51.722m.

Advertisers using radio for the first time in Q1 included Marmite and certain divisions of BT.
