Quantum Joins ISBA In Calls For Internet Advertising Accountability

The Incorporated Society of British Advertisers (ISBA) has made a statement backing advertising on the internet, but calling for internet sites to join together in order to ensure accountability.

In response to the statement, online planning and buying agency Quantum has re-released the charter it produced in October last year which calls for accountability from media planning and buying agencies, as well as the sites themselves.

Quantum itself employs a team of four to check invoices generated from the internet advertising sites they use to check the authenticity of audience data and corresponding payment. Clients are also offered their own audit process.

Chief executive Paul Longhurst says, “This is just one part of a process, the medium is highly complex and clients have a right to understand exactly how their agency operates and its statement and methods fo accountability.”

Quantum’s charter is available on its website (see below).
