Quest to sponsor Freeview website

Freeview Discovery’s Quest channel is set to be the first solus website sponsor of Freeview during May.

Quest will be the first of the Discovery channels to air on the digital terrestrial TV service when it launches on May 14.

As part of the new partnership, the Freeview website will feature a number of adverts on the homepage, which have been designed to give users a taste of the new factual, documentary and entertainment series on the Discovery channel.

The Freeview e-mail newsletter, which is set to be sent out to around 100,000 people per month, with also feature channel and programme information.

Freeview’s online manager, Adrian Mack, said that showcasing content from Quest was “a great way to bring our viewers closer to the action”.
