Radio Authority Publishes Complaints Bulletin
The Radio Authority has today published its Complaints Bulletin for the fourth quarter of 1995. It gives details of the 135 programming and advertising issues which gave rise to written complaints during this period. The Authority upheld 15 programming complaints and 13 advertising complaints.
A penalty of £1,000 was imposed on Scot FM (Central Scotland) because music played was at variance with its ‘promise of performance’: not enough adult rock was played and too much was played from ‘non-categorised music.’
