Radio Revenue Reaches New Record High

The latest figure for commercial radio revenue has been released; for the period July – September 1995, revenue was £68.6 million. This is an increase of 20.7% year on year and an increase of £2.5m on Q2 this year.

Radio has sustained growth for the third year running and the latest figure is the highest ever quarterly revenue take for commercial radio. Revenue from national advertisers continues to grow; this quarter it represents 55% of total revenue, with a growth of 25.4%.
