Radio Set For 13% Growth In 1997

According to Advertising Association forecasts leaked to Media Week, radio is set to remain the fastest growing advertising medium in 1997 with growth set for 13.4% year-on-year. It is set to bring in £0.36 billion this year compared with £0.31 billion last year.

Other figures suggest that the business press sector is set to hit the £1bn revenue mark, with a 9.6% increase year-on-year from £0.96bn to £1.05bn, while consumer magazines will be the slowest expanding sector at 5.8% growth.
