Quarter 2 data includes the usual batch of gains and losses. Few stations are fortunate enough to see an increase in both reach and hours.
Notable gains in weekly reach include City FM (21% to 25%), LBC Newstalk (8% to 11%), Invicta FM (24% to 29%), although average hours are well down, Tay,Dundee (38% to 43%), BRMB FM (20% to 24%), Chiltern Hot FM (18% to 24%) and Fox in Oxford (37% to 44%).
In London, where most stations reported in the Quarter 1 survey this year, Capital’s reach has fallen back by one percent for FM and Gold, Jazz has slipped 2% to 5% and Talkback 3% to 7%. Choice leaps from 8% to 12%.
