RAJAR figures for Q2 2010 saw a stellar performance from commercial radio, which posted its highest share and reach since 2007.

Capital 95.8 FM and BBC Radio 2 are non-movers at the top of the breakfast show chart, although both leaders are being steadily chased by their second and third place rivals.

Meanwhile, Global’s Heart Network has continued to keep pace with it’s BBC counterparts in the National market, although BBC 6 Music offers the story of the day with an unprecedented rise, as predicted.

It is all change in London, however, with Heart racing past Magic to claim the number one spot, and Bauer’s Kiss 100 is quickly gaining ground after a strong all-round performance.

It has been a good quarter for Digital Radio too, with set ownership up once again (more digital analysis to follow).
