RAJAR figures for the second quarter of 2002 bring less than impressive news for the majority of London radio stations. Capital 95.8 FM and Capital Gold London were the only stations to see their weekly reach increase period on period.
Among other major London radio stations, Heart 106.2 experienced a slight decline in reach, whilst Kiss 100 FM and Magic 105.4 saw heavier falls. The most significant declines in weekly reach were experienced by he smaller stations, with Millennium 106.8 FM slipping 55% period on period and Premier Christian Radio falling 36.5%.
In terms of share, Capital 95.8 FM retained its lead and increased its share by 0.3 percentage points period on period. Magic 105.4 and Kiss 100 FM saw the most significant falls, the former slipping 0.8 percentage points and the latter dropping 0.6 percentage points.
