Reading Evening Post to relaunch

Reading Evening Post Newspaper The Reading Evening Post, owned by Guardian Media Group, is to relaunch as the Reading Post, with its sister paper, currently called the Reading Post, also relaunching, as Getreading.

In its new guise, the Reading Evening Post will move from a five-day-a-week paper to a 180-page weekly costing 40p from next Wednesday 3 June.

The latest ABC figures show that the Reading Post‘s average daily sale in the last six months of 2008 was 12,879.

Getreading will launch as a part paid-for part-free title including listings and previews of the weekend’s sport and news. It will be delivered to around 71,000 homes, and available in shops for 40p from next Friday 5 June.
