Online advertising company Real Media has appointed a new president and chief executive officer. Christopher D. Neimeth will replace Dave Morgan who will become chairman.
Mr Morgan spoke of the new appointment: “Chris Neimeth is practically a brand unto himself in the new media industry. He is an entrepreneurial professional with international experience and exceptional abilities in management, business development, marketing, sales and product development within the media and internet industries. As Real Media takes the next logical steps towards reinforcing its position as the most efficient and effective global online ad network, Chris is the right person to take us there.”
Chris joins the group from the New York Times and Times Company Digital, where he worked as senior vice president for business development and strategic planning.
The group also announced last week the appointment of Silvana Imperiali to the newly created position of chief operating officer. She will manage all operations for Real Media in the Americas including its advertising network and strategic development.
