Real Media UK Clinches Net Ad Sales For Bloomberg Sites

Online marketing and sales company, Real Media, has secured a deal to manage ad sales across the European sites of news and information provider, Bloomberg. The two year deal, which gives Real Media UK an 80% share of Bloomberg’s European business, covers sites in France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland.
Bloomberg uses Real Media’s Open AdStream ad management technology across its websites worldwide. Commenting on the deal, Real Media’s vice president of market development, Joshua Rosen, said: “This is a significant deal for Real Media, confirming our authority in the pan-European marketplace. Real Media will not only handle sales for the local language sites but traffic from those countries into Bloomberg.com.”
Earlier in the year News International signed Real Media to handle its Times Internet websites – times-money.co.uk, the-times.co.uk, sunday-times.co.uk and times-sport.co.uk (see News International Signs Real Media For Internet Ad Sales). Real Media has also recently teamed up with cable group NTL to develop the first interactive television advertising service (see NTL And Real Media Create Interactive TV Advertising Service).
