Record Results At Primesight

Outdoor advertising company Primesight has today announced pre-tax profits for 1997 of £830,000, up 77% on the previous year. Turnover increased 13% to £12.99m.
Primesight chairman Martin Barber said: “These record results follow the introduction of the company to the Stock Exchange’s Official List last July and we are now beginning to see the benefits derived from the new capital raised at that time.” The money raised helped to reduce debt, strengthen the balance sheet and enabled the company to continue the development of its core six-sheet business.
The company also said that the prospects for the group in 1998 are good with favourable market conditions.
Primesight went on to say that, on the international side of its business, it expects advertisers to turn more and more to traditional forms of advertising for their pan-regional marketing messages. This is due to increases in media choice and the expansion of television channels available across Europe.
