Redesign Of Gramophone

General Gramophone Publications has announced a redesign of Gramophone, together with a major promotional package, worth over £100,000.
The magazine’s new look is designed to make it easier to read, and bring it up to date. The first redesigned issue will be the September issue, on sale August 17th. This features a Blue Riband Dealer Scheme, which will be developed throughout the autumn, and will be a permanent feature of Gramaphone, responding to feedback from readers.
Other new features to be included will be The Gramophone Awards, supported by Classic FM. Also included will be several covermounted CDs; in the October issue there will be a hi-fi test signals disc, which will appeal to the hi-fi enthusiast as well as purely classic music fans. There will be a video and cinema supplement to finish off the promotional campaign in the December issue.
There will be adverts on Classic FM to promote each autumn issue, as well as point of sale promotions in W H Smith, John Menzies and Martins stores, together with adverts in the national press and classic music retailers. Advertisement Director: Barry Irving
