Reebok In Rugby Sponsorship Deal

Reebok International has announced its sponsorship of the Manu Samoa rugby team. The deal will be a four-year partnership taking the Western Samoans through to the 1999 Rugby World Cup.

Reebok will provide the team with their official playing kit, casual and training apparel, boots and a range of other accessories. The signing of Western Samoa adds another name to the growing list of international rugby properties that Reebok has signed recently, which include the Wallabies, John Eales and Jonah Lomu. Peter Moore, Senior Vice President of Reebok Soccer/Rugby Division, said: “Reebok is a relatively new player in the rugby market. However, we have focused our efforts on selecting exciting, performance-driven teams that enhance our brand name globally.”
