Reed Business Information (RBI) has this morning announced the acquisition of the controlled circulation computer titles of Dennis Publishing for an undisclosed sum.
The group of titles is a six strong line-up of magazines including Microscope , The Var and Business & Technology. RBI publishes over 60 titles including Computer Weekly, Flight International, Estates Gazette and Doctor.
Alistair Ramsay, managing director of Dennis, commented: “We have taken a strategic view to sell these titles in order to focus on newstrade titles be they computer or mainstream consumer.” RBI said that the acquisition will provide the group with a wider base to grow from.
All the titles and staff will be relocated to Quadrant House, the head office of RBI, sometime before the Summer.
