Regional Closures

Emap has closed the nine year old free newspaper the Folkestone and Dover Citizen. Emap’s Associated Kent Newspapers said it would enable them to focus further on the paid-for weeklies Folkestone Herald and Dover Express.

Reed Regional Newspapers has suspended publication of the Wimbledon Borough News. There is speculation that the title will be re-introduced as a paid-for weekly.
