Regional News Programmes – Border Best
Border Television, the smallest mainland ITV station, produces the most popular regional news programme, according to BARB figures quoted in today’s Guardian. Lookaround, the nightly half hour show which covers Cumbria, the Borders and the Isle of Man, has a 51% share of viewing in its area.
London Tonight, from Carlton and LWT fares second worst, managing a 30% share. Tyne Tees Today, bottom of the league table has a 28% share.
