Not all the titles in this category have yet reported for this period. The South London Guardian Group can claim the prime position of having the highest circulation amongst the weekly free titles. Its figure now stands at 562,899 distributed copies, only an actual increase of 3,702 copies, but still enough for it too reach the top of the chart. The Midland Weekly Newspapers Group is making strong progress, with an increase of 4.8% taking its total distribution figure to 515,460.

The real success story appears to be the Lendan Group which shows the highest actual change and percentage change in a year on year comparison. The Groups distribution rose by 181,437 copies, a percentage change of 82.1%. Midland Weekly Newspapers showed an actual increase of 23,671. Other significant percentage increases were shown by the Windsor & Maidenhead Leader (75.7%), and the Coalville & Ashby Echo (41.6%).

The smallest distribution in the field of Regional Free Weeklies goes to the County Border Times and Mail, which only distributed 4973 copies. The following table shows the bottom five titles.
