There was very little change in the fortunes of the free regional newspapers with only 3 of the top ten titles showing an increase in circulation and the greatest increase being 0.9% (Birmingham Metronews).
Several titles showed practically no change, year on year. The Southampton Advertiser gained 7 readers while the Manchester Metro News lost 12.
